Smart Ports: 2017 Med Innovant Award Winner for its innovative smart PPE
Smart Ports
Last week, Intellinium received Med Innovant 2017 award for its innovation related to Smart Ports & Cities.
Since 2014, Intellinium has been investing significative amount of ressources to bring to the market a new disruptive smart PPE. This award is a proof that we are heading into the right direction.
Euromediterranée
Euroméditerranée is one of the biggest Smart City program in Europe. Billions of EURO are poured into massive reconstruction program and new futurist buildings. The very interesting thing is that Euroméditerranée initiative are both tackling city and port challenges as Marseille is a 2600 old city-port founded initially by a Greek community.
Smart Cities and Smart Ports expectations shall be initially focused on what makes a sustainable social community: safety and security for people working and living there. Intellinium is very well positioned to enable better safety and security thanks to its breakthrough innovative smart PPE (autonomous safety shoes that can make their own decisions and who can assist worker/people anytime anywhere).
ENGIE, a sponsor for future steps
Not surprisingly, ENGIE is sponsoring this award and will help Intellinium during the following months to test and experiment its innovative smart PPE into the different ENGIE entities. For instance, Intellinium smart safety shoes (or boots) can be immediately of benefit for lone workers to provide better communication coverage and penetration. Our innovation brings also immediate cost benefit as we replace different existing devices (such as traditional man-down devices) by a single industrial wearable that virtualize all those functionalities.
